Since the wife and I are having to do lunch for Valentines instead of dinner, I currently have reservations as Del Friscos in the Galleria.

However, if the Houston food board pros have any other suggestions to sway me to change, I’d gladly take them under consideration.

And for the record, you people are the upper echelon of Tiger Droppings.

Those in the know avoid restaurants on amateur day.

Congrats for being in the know.

I cook at the house all the time, and probably the past 3-4 Valentines nights due to kids. We’re going have lunch somewhere.

You seem to be one of the Houston experts. Any Italian place that would be worth going to instead of Del Frisco’s in that area?

Also, have you been to Eunice yet? It’s next door to my office, but I have yet to give it a go.

Only Italian place I've been to around the Galleria area in the last few years is North.

Not yet, it's on the list of places this month though.

We are fans of Giacomo’s Cibo e Vino on Westhimer, not too far from Greenway.

Ill second Giacomos. It’s not a classic red sauce joint, but we’ve had several great dinners there.
