I’m taking someone there for a graduation dinner and haven’t been in years. Love the view and atmosphere. I know the food used to be lacking, but is there anything I should focus on?

Pretty much the entire small plate raw menu is very good. The nigiri and rolls are normal for your above average sushi place. Nothing exactly is going to standout on the nigiri menu. The Kabuki roll is baller.

I havent had it but apparently the steak is very good but I dont see it on the current menu.

I would just go there and order like youre at a regular sushi place

I think their fried rolls are the best in the city.

The Thai spaghetti is really very good for something so simple. I would add shrimp to that and have it as my meal. I have only been to the new Highland location recently but I assume it is available downtown, as well. I do know they do fried rice and don’t do that downtown. Or, at least that is what the server told me. Something about not having something in the downtown kitchen.
