Traverse City Michigan food/beer

Anyone been up that way? Leaving July 8-12 going to play Arcadia Bluffs and staying at the Boyne resort, any can't miss beers? Breweries? Food?
I was not a Michigan food fan the last 2 years but tons of good beer, just wondering if anything in that area is a must do.

I don't know anything about the food, but it's a beautiful area this time of the year. Make sure you hike one of the dunes.
