I agree. It is more of a creole style and wasn’t meant to be an authentic Cajun gumbo.
Just like chicken spaghetti made with a “red gravy” may not be Cajun or Italian.

I couldn't care less what someone else is eating. When people put post pictures bragging about they way they do their gumbo, with the express purpose of eliciting a response, and then getting said response, it makes one question their sincerity.

U crazy. Smoked sausage boiled from a seafood boil is perfect for seafood gumbo.

I'd definitely eat a bowl, but I would never make a gumbo that way.

No tomatoes, okra or sausage in my seafood gumbo. I don't mind okra in a shrimp gumbo but it's not my favorite.
