For as long as I can remember, they’ve had pretty good tasting brews in their tasting room. However, the canned beers have always been garbage.

Flat, weird bready aftertastes (even on the sours), and general lack of favor.

I heard from someone I assume to be in-the-know that they discovered a mold/bacteria issue in their canning system, so I’m hoping that was the issue.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about, and do their canned beers taste better now? They’re coming out with some good sounding flavors I’d like to try, but haven’t had it in months.

I've never had a beer from them that made me want to go out of my way to get it.

I’ve never had their beer(live out of state), but was curious so just looked at their ratings on Untapped for their five most popular beers. No significant difference in ratings for cans vs draft and that was over 30,000 check-ins. The biggest difference was one beer had a .05 higher rating for draft. Two had a higher rating for cans.

I’m not sure I buy the story you heard.

They don’t taste weird to me. Their French vanilla coffee porter is delicious.
