Has anyone here been or know of someone whose been to the Tin Roof brewery for LSU home gamedays? My brother is coming from out of town and has been wanting to try their beer for a long while. I wanted to try to squeeze visiting there if the crowd is ok.

If we can't make it to there on game day, does Circle K or CVS in Northgate sell Tin Roof beer so we can tailgate with it?

The run a bus to and from the brewery. Do that.

You might be able to find Tin Roof at CVS or like but just to be sure you should just go to the brewery. They usually have some solid beers on tap only. I've been wanting to try the saison.

The crowds are actually pretty light on home gamedays because everyone is on campus tailgating.

They do a shuttle to campus as well, if you aren't going out to campus early you can catch it to and from.

The new Matherne's on campus will have all sorts of local beers. It's in the development on Nicholson where the old Alex Box used to be, right across from Tiger Stadium.

Haven't been there in almost a year, but they used to have Voodoo, Blonde, and the Bayou Bengal in the walk in cooler. From my recollection it was always really fresh too
