Booked reservations there for myself and a friend

I see they have a tasting menu, would you go that route or just order what you want a la carte?

I've seen several reviews raving about that

I'm excited. Haven't been to a nice restaurant in a while

I’ve enjoyed all of my experiences there. Haven’t been in a year or so.

I haven't been ever. Wanted to try something new. It looks really promising.

I do recommend the tasting menu. Ask to sit at the chef’s table. They will give you samples of alot of other things.

First time I ate there I did the tasting menu and it was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. Have been back several times after and ordered off the menu and was disappointed. The dichotomy was strange. I hope you enjoy it.

4 times, 3 for dinner and 1 for a festive Christmas lunch.

All great times. Can’t go wrong with anything in my opinion.

Had boudin stuffed quail last dinner... very good

I agree with Lester that French 75 would be a nice stop. I also agree that the bar at R'evolution is very nice. I love the atmosphere.

We didn't make it to French 75 but we went to Cure and then to 3 Muses so I could show him Frenchmen area

We made it to the restaurant early and sat in the Revolution bar and it was very nice. We tried the old fashion with the coffee infused whiskey and it was delicious

Our overall experience was top notch. We ordered the duck liver moose to start which was fantastic and then both got the tasting menu. My friend had never tried turtle soup and they were willing to sub that for him in lieu of the soup that was on the tasting menu. The service and quality of food exceeded my expectations. And they seemed to be more "laid back" than you get at some higher end restaurants where everything feels too formal.

Glad you had a good experience. I also find it one of the more comfortable restaurants. I love those chairs.

Wife and I went the day between wedding and flying out for honeymoon. We got some oysters for app, a filet that could be cut with a spoon and a lobster stuffed fish. It was all great. Bring your checkbook - it's not cheap.
