I tried posting this last night but a slip up and it disappeared. So here we go again..........

Yesterday I had my oldest granddaughter here helping me with some baking.

Here she is helping me with making Pecan Pie Bread Pudding.

Here she is making decorative pieces for putting on the pies. She also did 90% of the mixing of ingredients.

The results.....

Some mini pumpkin pies.

I decided to make some loaves of bread mostly for my usual Thanksgiving Day sandwich this evening. This one is an Amish white bread.

The mixed dough.

The risen dough ready to make into loaves.

And here are the two loaves. One a free form and one baked in a pan. They got a little darker than I wanted but they are both light for their size.

Doing a slow roast overnight with our turkey and it went in the oven about 10:30 last night.

Ready to roast.

It's smelling and looking good..........
