I stopped reading because I dont want that shite force fed to me. And yes I hate buzz words from politics and from a site that is political.

They write this article a year ago and it would be hard to put that in there since

the Tabasco peppers they use in Tabasco are farmed in mexico.

yea they own a ton of land down there and in south america.

their story is interesting but they definitely arent just 'local'

the farm on Avery Island is just for show to show people how they farm. the bulk of the peppers are grown in tropical climates. Mexico. and SA.

I think I remember hearing on a tour of Avery Island that the peppers grown on site are for seeds, which are then grown in Mexico.
