We usually buy the Great Value rice from Albertsons and have never had an issue with quality. Recently bought the Supreme as it was on sale. Both times, we had the black residue in the Supreme Rice.

We've been buying this from Calandro's in Baton Rouge for the last year or so. It's out of Iota, LA. We haven't had any issues with it, and it's really good rice!

Rocks in rice? That’ll break a tooth. I use Stansel’s rice for everything except jambalaya.

Tried it twice and didn’t like how it turned out. Maybe because it’s “popcorn” rice, I don’t know.
