(not my choice) any recs for better dishes on the menu? thanks for helping me to dine defensively. also, is this place excessively noisy?

I don't remember what I had - either gumbo, etouffee, or bisque, but I don't remember it being bad at all. It was about what you'd expect for a middle of the road restaurant at middle of the road prices: nothing special, but nothing that I wouldn't eat again.

Very noisy. I prefer their chargrilled oysters to Drago's.

Noisy place. Not awful food but nothing to make a point of eating. Decent oyster bar as I recall.

Theraw oysters are good. The BBQ shrimp is pretty good.
