Suggestions for Drink/Apps in CBD/QUARTER?

Getting out of the house for the first time in a while since our new arrival and wanted to get dressed up and go downtown.
Looking to hop around about 3 different restaurants or bars for martinis and good apps. Any suggestions?
Thinking about starting at the "Uncommon Bar" in the Renaissance Hotel.
Been to the Davenport Lounge and carousel bar too many times. Others?
Always wanted to try Pelican club, but not sure if the bar area has a good atmosphere.

Too late, but the Sazerac Bar in the Roosevelt would be a nice touch.
