hello tigerdroppings,

A few friends and I are making a trip to good ol Starkville this weekend for the first time. As legend goes, there aren't many sights to see in this town. Yet I'm convinced that there at least has to be a few quality bars/restaurants to check out --- particularly a solid bar to watch the game on Saturday (we don't have tickets).

So, if you've been fortunate enough to have made a trip to Starkvegas yourself, I'm open to any and all recommendations and feedback you may have. Thanks!

Yeah, I don't get coming up here without tix, but to answer your question, The Veranda is a good spot. Good food, good bar area with tvs. going to be packed though. frick, man Starkville is really a shithole. Maybe Buffalo Wild Wings? Lol. Just come to campus and someone will take you in under a tent. It's a decent experience but honestly would be last on my list for SEC schools.

Starkvegas isn't nearly as bad as you guys think...you just have to be on the inside to know where to go and what to do.

Starkville's downtown area blows. And that's coming from a long time Auburn resident. It's really just terrible
