Headed there Wednesday; staying on the east side of the island, but will have a car. Any restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm curious as to what kind of place you will be staying at?

The food board gets a little slow on the weekends. Bump this thread again on Monday and you will probably get some more responses.

Stayed at the Ritz for thanksgiving week. The restaurants on the Ritz property are legit. Other times we went to Red Hook. There is some pizza place in Red Hook that was good, but can't remember the name.

Nothing really spectacular on the island. Most of it is at least good. In Red Hook, try Duffy's Love Shack. It was suprizingly good. Fun place too. If you have a smartphone, the myVI app is a must have for exploring the island. In Red Hook if you have a vehicle, you can take the car ferry to St. John.

Old Stone Farmhouse.

It was years ago, but we still talk about it. Loved it!

Senor Pizza.

Damn food was so expensive there. Nothing like paying $8 for a gallon of milk.
