Like Francolinis but don’t love the bread. A little too crispy for my liking.
Have the exact same feeling. The meats were great, and the flavors were good. Bread just missed the mark and, honestly, tasted old. Wouldn't mind bread options either.

as someone who lives on the other side of town, there is no situation where i would ever go there.

unless the food hall is next to a busy office tower
Which is a struggle because of all the remote and work from home jobs that have been proliferating for the past few years.

Food Halls got dealt a crappy hand since 2020, and none of its was their own doing.
-Social Distancing
-Raging inflation
-Remote work
-Government stimulus keeping hourly employees out of workforce
I went to St Roch pre-COVID a few times and always thought it was great. Clearly the crime in that area now is out of control, I'd never venture back.

I went to couple food halls like St Roch in Carlsbad and Oceanside when i visited San Diego last month. It was great for our group that couldn’t decide on what everyone wanted to eat. Great experience at both. The latter was more upscale dining with a brewery on the top floor. Very clean, top notch food, and great service. Centrally located bar with a nice cocktail menu. Obviously a very different landscape than Nola.
