Heading there for the first time this week. Experiences?

Haven't been myself but have heard nothing but great things. Need to go before they inevitably get their Michelin Star and blow up even more.
Make sure to report back.

It is very very good. It’s my pick for best in Nola.
It is definitely more casual than say Emeril’s as it’s in the Bywater.
But great menu. It’s progressive. You’ll sit at the bar for a few courses then at the table for several more.

Would it be a good restaurant for a wedding anniversary?

To me yes. But it depends on you. The food is spectacular. Great (but casual) service. Good, very cool wine list.
It’s the bywater so it is a somewhat casual setting, it is hipsterville after all. Still it’s pretty.
It’s not Emeril’s haute white tablecloth very formal dining.
But still a great, innovative tasting menu. My wife and I have done two there.

They are 100% without question getting 1 star. Emeril specifically mentioned he thought they deserved Stars as I recall.
Go while the place is still relatively affordable.

I haven't been in a couple years since I moved out of NOLA, but when I lived there it was probably my favorite restaurant. I've been 3 times and every time it was fantastic. It's as good as any Michelin place I have been to.

It was absolutely outstanding.
We hung out in the back courtyard after dinner, and it’s very nice.

Glad you liked it.
It is an extremely, extremely good restaurant. In a major city it would have so many accolades
