Thinking about making some sourdough pancakes for breakfast
tomorrow, are they worth it, or should I stick with Aunt Jemmy out of the box.

1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
pinch of sugar (to aid in browning the crust)
1 egg
3 tbl oil
1 cup buttermilk
dry mix and wet mix separate till ready to cook then fold together. Pancake batter should be lumpy, not smooth.
To add sourness can use a few drops of lemon/orange juice or very subtle lime juice, apple cider or cider vinegar too.
I often add vanilla and almond extract.
