Yeah it is. I think they are a relatively new fest so most of the prime fest times are already taken. The old school mentality of no raw oysters in the summer needs to go away though. Wildlife & Fisheries and the FDA are all over our oysters, constantly testing and regulating. As long at the restaurants at the fest are icing down any raw oysters and being generally careful, it should be a great fest.
