it would be nice to see them hire kids in other groups/organizations that have different beliefs, but still influence them to be hardworking polite people.

they are retarded anyway- you are supposed top say "the works"

and that is why at subway i say 2 things at a time. i mean cut them some slack- they here those ingredients 6000 times a day, it's bound to get a little mixed up here and there.

what pisses me off about subway is when i walk in the same time is bitch in the scrubs, and me being nice say go ahead, and she pulls out 14 post it god damn notes with orders for every count back at the nurses station

In theory you'd get great employees, but again, it's illegal to discriminate in hiring based on religion whatsoever. As the Forbes article mentioned, part of the leeway that Chick-Fil-A gets is that they aren't as restricted when selecting who gets to open a franchise, they can ask those people whatever they want.

I had to lie and say that I was Catholic in order to get a job teaching at a Catholic school. Atheists get hired, but the odds at that particular school were slim to none if I told them otherwise.

It kind of bit me in the arse the first time we did Mass, though, I didn't realize they did it monthly on a school day. I was pretty clueless on what to do.

I did a good job, though. So I don't think it's cool that someone with good intentions and a good work ethic should have to lie just to get hired.

for $14 i'll go somewhere else...

and seriously, cox must employ fast-food drop-outs...

as far as the nurse, she should have said she was making multiple orders and not gone ahead... what a bitch.

Yeah. It's just so tough to get great employees. But I agree that it should be illegal.

I don't think it's cool that people who are paying for their kids to go to a private religious school to have them taught by atheists.

subway is definitely on my shite list. when you say "everything but banana peppers and jalapenos" how can you possibly mix that up?

I like Quizno's, but I do have to wonder sometimes what part of "I don't want that toasted" they don't understand. And the ones who DO understand that look at you as if their heads are going to explode when you tell them that.

Why do no hot chicks work at fast food places? The only one I have seen is at the McDonalds in Lobdell circa 2002.

so in a public school, should they be able to be taught by christians?

just because someone doesn't believe in it doesn't mean they can't teach it. and it's not like he was teaching religion anyway.

ETA: or in a public school, should they allow creationists to teach?

don't forget that a lot of the students aren't catholic or whatever religion the school is, and they just go along with it too...

it's not always possible to go somewhere else regarding time.

and $5/footlong is dirt cheap for something that fills me up (and not greasy)

Chick-fil-A has been sued many times for employment discrimination. One Muslim guy was fired for not participating in a group prayer to Jesus at a Christian program, he sued and got paid.

I'm agnostic but I agree Chic-Fil-A is fast as hell, so whatever they're doing won't get any major complaints from me.

What difference does it make? My lack of belief in Jesus has no bearing as to whether or not your kid is going to learn the subject I'm teaching.

The Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge is able to hire teachers without a college degree, a high school diploma is necessary. Some teachers that I worked with didn't have a degree. Many were only teaching because they had several children enrolled at the school, and that meant free tuition for all of them.

If you're shelling out thousands of bucks a semester, you should probably worry more about the educational background of the teachers, more so than whether or not they worship at the same church as you.
