Where to get some? Is it a specialty item, or can I pick some up from the deli at Albertsons?

The butcher at any grocery store should slice it for you. Just ask.

Call them and get them to partially freeze it and slice it for you. Any grocery butcher is capable of this, you just gotta ask real nicely

I'm confused here. You're going to the Deli to get sliced ribeyes so you can cook them and make a sandwich, or are you looking for someone to have it already made for you and pre-packaged?

Truth is most people don't realize that butchers are happy to do this type of thing. It's their job. I was going to suggest throwing it in the freezer for 30 minutes for easier slicing.

You gotta order the Amarosa from Philly tho. You can't get that anywhere.

I would like thin slices of raw ribeye to cook with onions to make cheesteaks.

Yes jack, I have a knife. What I don't have is the skill to cut slices as thinly as a meat slicer would

Get a sharper knife and some ninja skills. Or ask the butcher.
