Who has the best fresh shrimp in BR

I don't know about BR but I bought some 36-40 count brown shrimp that came out of Lake Boudreaux from a fella in Dulac for $2 a pound. Those brackish water shrimp are the best tasting shrimp you will ever find!

Curious, what is the difference? Are they sweeter? Less of an iodine flavor that some shrimp tend to have?
I’ve always been picky about the flavor of shrimp but most people I know assure me they all taste the same. It just isn’t true. I’ve had some shrimp that I didn’t like at all and some that I could eat my body weight in. I just don’t know the difference. This is true even among frozen shrimp.

They do have a sweeter taste them.
Iodine is tasteless and odorless, but I know what you mean when you say shrimp taste like iodine. It's from the shrimp gorging themselves on worms, happens on coastal lakes, not so much inshore. Only larger shrimp can eat them which is why the smaller shrimp dont "taste like iodine"
