I had not been in years, but a relative wanted a steak, and that was nearby. For $30, we got a 8 oz. filet, garden salad and choice of spicy au gratin potatoes or baked potato. Can get 10 oz. for $36.

It was damned good, especially at the price. The steaks were good quality and cooked just as we ordered.

Most of your Superior's, 2 Johns type places would have asked high 30s or low 40s for the meat alone. It is casual atmosphere. If that is okay for the occasion, it is a good bargain.
