Seattle restaurants-not fine dining-downtown

I am looking for thoughts about downtown Seattle restaurants along the lines of Chimes and that ilk.
In other words, local menu, good draft beer selection and casual atmosphere.
Collins Pub and Pike Brewing look promising if anyone knows those places.
Another Seattle thread from a few weeks ago had some good higher end ideas.

Caffe Umbria for coffee

Pike Brewing is pretty cool, especially if you are going before or after a Mariners game.
Salumi is a great place, but get there early and be prepared to wait.
Not quite downtown but walkable or an easy Uber-ride, I'd recommend Quinn's Pub.

I'll be there Friday night for Mariners vs Royals.

Cafe Umbria looks great. Quinn's Pub really hits the mark for what I am looking for.

Any experience with Japonessa?
