Sams Club app for store pickup/groceries

This is money. Ordered what I usually get there plus a couple fruit and meat deals and snacks, hit purchase and done. They email you when the order is ready and when you roll up you goto your app and check in to say you are here.
They then wheel out your stuff. No dealing with the crazies in the store.

I use the scan and go app.
Can't get alcohol.
I like to look at beef and pork myself.
In and out in no time.

Thats the next thing I am going to try. Its cold and damp today and did not want to deal with it. I got hamburger meat only so we will see, was willing to chance it.
I don’t normally buy alchohol at Sams. Sometimes Costco, who needs to catchup with sams on tech.

It's an awesome app. I used to avoid going for simple things because of the lines and drama.
Very much agree with you on Costco. Very surprised they don't offer this. I believe Sam's has been having this for 2 years now.

So in store you just scan the barcode, when finished check out and pay and roll out the door showing the app to the door checker on the way out?

That is exactly what you do.
Very quick and convenient.
After you pay it generates a QR code. The lady at door scans your QR code on your phone with her device and shows her a digital receipt so she can look over what you bought.

Yep. I just used scan and go, skipped the long Saturday checkout lines, and headed to the door. See you suckers later. I feel a bit like a thief when I do it.
The scanner feature on it is the best scanner I’ve seen. You point your phone near anything with a bar code, and it reads it immediately.
Unless they are buying alcohol or don’t have a credit card, I have no idea why people are standing in line to check out when this app is available.

Alright , here is an update.
For the weekends this service is worth it. As I sat there waiting for the sams baw to come out I watched what seemed like a nonstop in bound out bound of people. The order was 30 mins over but no big deal as I did not have to drive over there until the order was ready. Guy who came out what a nice guy.
There are 5 stalls to pull up in, 3 of them were taken by cars with no occupant and the one next to me was obviously waiting for someone who went in. Gots to love the Metry.
Either first thing on the weekend or during the week I’d probably go in there with the app but I goto Costco most of the time anyway. Costco is not much better crowd wise but I can roll in there at 9:30am on Saturday and roll out in 30 mins.

I use scan n go all the time. It is also great for business buyers, as the app stores your receipts.
