40 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye is $139
this seems more than double unless there is a smaller one...must be a smaller one bc there is no way I could eat 40oz

Nah it's that big. It's meant to be shared

but they do offer a smaller version. I ordered one 4-5 years ago and don't remember sharing

Yea I think there is one that might be around 22 ounces or so.
I pretty much just stick with the NY strip now

I can't pass up the ribeye...never had the strip

I was a ribeye man for years then went strip. Try it it's good.
Get it 'charred' medium rare. They stick the steak on the broiler plate and the crust is amazing.

I believe the Tomahawk is meant to be shared by 2 people. Figure about 5-7 oz. for the bone and that is more than enough meat for 2 people with sides.

I've never been to a Ruth Chris, but have been wanting to bring my wife.
How much for 2? Apps, entrees, sides, dessert, drinks? Less than $200 or more like less than $300
The last time the wife and I went----about 2 years ago----the bill came to just under $200 with the tip. We each had a steak, me the ribeye and her the small filet. We also ordered the creamed spinach and the potatoes au gratin dish. I had 2 cocktails, she had 2 glasses of house wine and we got a complimentary dessert we shared.
When I called to make the reservations I mentioned it was our anniversary and they had a long stemmed red rose for her and the complimentary dessert at the end of the meal.
Of course it will be higher now with the increase in prices but you can get an idea by looking on-line for Ruth's Chris Menu with Pricing and that will get you close.

The heated serving plate and the fact they claim their grill gets to around 1800 degrees to cook their steaks will make for a great crusty outside while the inside is cooked to perfection.
