I've found that some of the cheap rums aren't very good no matter what you do to them. That's been my experience.

I just bought a bottle of El Dorado 15 year based on another thread I searched on here. Anyone have any other recs for someone trying to get into sipping on rum? I just bought the El Dorado on my lunch break today, so no idea if I like it or not

As I have discovered over the years, the best base spirit will make the best cocktail. Universal rule
