Went last night, traffic was so heavy we just wanted to wait it out. Food very standard, not any better, more innovative or tastier than a dozen batter barns in town. Service ok.

I can see the novelty has worn off, at 6:30 it was mostly empty.

I think Parrains is a little better, but Roux 61 isn't bad by any stretch. Their portion sizes are huge as well.

assuming this has some sort of etouffee on top? I never acquired a taste for that.

Went today for the 1st time. Service was outstanding, food was even better. We had a crew so we had a fair sampling and everything was loved by all. The alligator/shrimp cheesecake was awesome as was the seafood stuffed potato. One of the better creme brulee's I've had and the bread pudding was spot on. To the folks who say Parrain's is better...I wish they'd change up the menu a little.

Went tonight. They don't skimp on the portions. Fried pickle appetizer was pretty good. House salad was excellent. Unfortunately, the entrees were too salty, especially the fried oysters. Service was better than most restaurants in Baton Rouge. Place was packed with customers.

Went Tuesday for lunch Very good service but charged $11.95 for Peacemaker and might have had 3 oysters and 3 shrimp. Kind of pricey for all bread.
