I've quick buying meats from Rouses, seems every single time it has had a rancid smell and slimy. I've purchased from the big on in Thibodaux, Donaldsonville, two in Gonzales, and big one on Airline.
Will stick to Alexander's and Ralph's for meats.

it's sad that there isn't one place in AP where i can get everything in one stop.

I live real close to the Lagniappe location and it sucks having to make multiple stops now. Against my better judgement I ran into this location as I was in a hurry to fire up the pit only to find their meat section by the butcher completely filled with packs of bacon, homemade sausages and tubs of lil smoakies floating in bbq sauce.
