We always try to find a new restaurant each time we come, focusing on seafood
For brunch, we ate at DTB, Down To the Bayou on Oak St
Without a doubt, one of the best meals we've had in the city. We shared the gumbo for an app. One of, if not the best gumbo's I've ever had. 9
The wife had the crab omelette, again 9. I had the oyster's over texas toast again 9. The service was a little slow was rhe only negative. Parking was an issue so I suggest uber/cab

We had reservations for Sac A Lait at 6. Walked there from the Hilton, quite a hoof. Had the jalapeno char-grilled oysters. Almost as good as Royal House, the wife said = Shared the crab deviled eggs and crawfish tourtiere. Both 9's. For dessert we shared a squash spice cake, not to sweet. 9
Been a great day for a foodie
Have brunch reservations at The Court of Two Sister's before the game. Will report back. Who Dat!

Really liked DTB the time I went. Like the setting they have there and the outdoor seating keeps from feeling like I am sitting in a walkway.

You need to cancel on COTS. It’s terribly touristy and the food is buffet style meh.

Go to Stanley for brunch.

DTB is on our shortlist, look forward to going. They have an interesting old fashioned that I want to try.

C2S is not as bad as this board makes it out to be but you won’t see much variance from a typical local brunch menu. If y’all are not in NO much it will hit most of the wants.

Enjoy and whodat!

OMG! You were so right! Awful. A wasted $100. The only thing somewhat edible was the sausage and turtle soup. Should have asked here first. The wife made the reservations and took full responsibility.

It really is a shame the food is so meh because the building and jazz courtyard setting are great.

I’ve heard good things off the board about Royal House when it comes to oysters. I want to try it.
