Went there tonight with some friends nice place and good pizza...howvever the pizza needs more sauce and ingredients...or just more sauce...also a better selection of pizza or build your own
I would go back but it could be better without much effort

Thin crust fast fired Neapolitan pizza can only handle so much topping weight before it borders on inedible.
Frankly, they probably offer more toppings than any other Neapolitan style pizza place I’ve ever been to.

Their Iverstine pizza is excellent IMO. The potato one is pretty nice too, but I agree too many of them just become flimsy and messy.
I've had a few pizzas at Datz at white Star and found theirs holds up really well. I also like the combinations they have.

Yep personally I prefer Dat’z Italian over Rocca. I was hoping it’d be similar to Ancora, but it wasn’t.

It just depends on what you’re looking for in a pizza. Neapolitan style focuses on the dough/crust. From there, it highlights a small handful of toppings. It’s not trying to make a gumbo in which all of the flavor notes meld into one. The reason the margherita is the stereotypical Neapolitan is that you have the bright acid of the tomato cut with the unctuous notes of the cheese, with the yeast notes of the crust setting the persistent baseline and little bursts of basil alter the volume, bite to bite, so the mouth never gets bored.
God damn it, now I want pizza.

Ate at Rocca a couple months ago. Thought it was really good.
All I know is they had this salad with some house made bacon bits on it, and it was the best bacon I’ve ever tasted. It was really thick cut and I can only describe it as perfect combination between bacon and cracklin. Told my buddy I just wanted to go back and order a plate of bacon. Hah
