I had a simmilar experience when a date and myself went. Service good, but price point on some of the items was just off. I rarely do fine dining, but also have eaten at Criollo, bottle of wine with entrees apps salads $200. Def going back there since it won't kill my wallet as much. Sobu is also a bit cheaper than R'Evolution

I went for brunch in October and wasn't really blown away either. Like others have said, the service was excellent and we didn't have any problems with food temperature or anything like that. I think everyone enjoyed what they ordered, it just all seemed a little ordinary for the price.

This item was pushed heavily by the server and the sommolier(sp?).

The wife and I had a really nice meal there in late July. Everything food wise was perfect, service excellent, but I do think that the wine list is a bit pretentious.

I normally like to take my time perusing the wine list trying to find a reasonably priced bottle that will go well with what I plan on eating. I was fumbling a bit with the ipad list and decided to defer to the sommelier. I was looking for a Central coast Pinot, her suggestions were priced at $80,$125, and $250.

Guess which one I picked? I fell for the oldest sales trick in the book.
