We're taking my son to ride the Polar Express train this morning and looking for good lunch recommendations in the area, preferably somewhat kid friendly but doesn't have to be too much as he is good in restaurants.

Central city bbq is really close. I’d go there if the weather is nice outside

I was thinking about here, I really wanted to go to Blue Oak but they are closed today.

Willa Jean; Company Burger; Blaze are all short walks and great for kids.
There is also Bonci Pizza on Julia, roman style pizza.
Snickerdoodle was legit.
Definitley not far. Might want to drive rather than walk from Union Station if you choose this.

Butcher is close, a little further away than Central City.
