Yes, but baking was really unnecessary. Could have easily just gone into the crock pot and everything melted in there.

I use pita chips because they are stronger

Also spread on harder breads

I prefer boudin warm but in that setting I could handle it cold or at room temp.

If you want to serve it hot, defrost it and bring a big pot of water to near boil.. just to where the water smokes at the top of the pot. Leave the water at that temp and drop the thawed boudin into the water for 15 minutes.
