Reconditioning my PK grill

I picked this up at an estate sale back in December, and just now getting around to fixing it up.

I used black grill paint on the body. The stand, I used “hammered copper” only because I happened to have a cam on hand. I think I’m going back to silver. The table is a ripped bourbon barrel head I had laying around. I still need to poly it.
Now I need to by replacement grates, which run $90 for the top and $40 for the bottom. I really hate to drop $90 on a stainless grate. I wish I could find a cast iron one that would fit.
