Tired as shite.

My calories are at 2010 right now and I feel full at night when I go to bed. It may have always been a timing thing for me, eating dinner later in the evening around 8-:30. I haven't binged on a weeknight in a while.

I am almost always hungry when I get home so I wind up eating dinner early unless I go to the gym.. when that happens I wind up hungry again at like 9pm.. it really sucks when your cals get low.

I've been working until 6 then going straight to the gym (30 minute commute). So once I'm done stretching/warming up it's a little before 7. Workout for an hour plus.

So I don't get home until after 8.

ETA: Hulk, how do you log things from cafes/restaurants? I'm going get some fricking hot chocolate tonight and idk which MFP entry to go with. Could go with the packet version 90cals or starbucks version which is like 300.

I generally err on the side of caution and go with the higher calorie version. You'd have to ask how they make it and see if they add all kinds of cream and sugar or if they just open a pre-packaged hot cocoa..

eta

Also how big is the one from Starbucks vs what the restaurant gives?

Lol I have no clue. I may just go with the heavy cal starbucks version. Not that hungry today so I don't mind missing 100 calories or so if they are off.

It's a dessert place so I assume that it's probably a bunch of cream and sugar.

Hi tune! How’ve you been?

I signed up for a random genetics & weight loss study through 23andme.com. They assigned me to the “no real dietary changes, but exercise a lot” group. The other 2 groups were low carb & low fat diets.

I keep going on and on about wanting to exercise more, so maybe this will motivate me.

Just for fun. Though they are offering me a $10 amazon card if I’m willing to test my pain tolerance by sticking my hand/forearm into a bucket of ice water for as long as I can stand. Not really feeling it.

Tomorrow I will begin clamping down my diet. Wife and I are doing whole 30, I'm curious to see what differences it makes for me. I've noticed my recovery from WODs has been shittier since I've been eating like crap the last few weeks. Ready to get dialed back in. Going to use Avatar macros with the macro preferences set all the way to fat. I also want to implement the 2on/2off to see how that works.

New weigh in day today. Only gained a pound through the holidays. I'll call that a victory.

New macros are:
Moderate fat loss
2009 cals
205p
