Price of shrimp?

Anybody know the price of shrimp in Westwego? I will be coming down in two weeks and would like to bring some back to Georgia. Thanks in advance

Shrimp season is now closed for much of the waters in La. Offshore is still open and there's a real good chance buying shrimp in Westwego will find you getting IQF shrimp and not fresh off the boat.
Don't know about current prices but I've paid between $3.50 -$4 a lb. for 16-20 size shrimp almost any time I've got them from the vendors in the lot.

All true but unless you making bar be que and have to use the heads there's nothing wrong with IQF shrimp.
My buddy is a commercial shrimper, he came in with a fresh load last weekend.... $3 for 21/25s

From what I found, sometime in late May but depends on how the shrimp are growing and ready for harvesting. So tentative on that date.
