We are in the area and had breakfast/coffee at this little establishment. I wanted to take just a moment to give this place some praise. We ordered a couple of coffees and a muffin and a kolache.

1. Nothing but smiles from the staff. Great interaction.

2. Quick mistake resolution. The cashier did not ring up the muffin so they tried to give it to us for free. (I gave the cashier a couple of bucks for it anyway)

3. Very clean establishment.

4. Quick coffee turnout even though they were busy.

5. The best kolache I’ve ever had was here. If you are near, go out of your way for the hot sausage and cheese kolache.

We will be a repeat customer.

Thanks for the info--always glad to hear about a kolache in NOLA. I noticed a sign going up for a Kolache Kitchen? (sorry, can't remember if that was the name or not) on Freret Street.

We just stumbled into it because I refused to let the family eat breakfast at McDonald’s while we are in NOLA. Very pleased.
