Shrimp Remoulade from Zydeco po boys was freakin awesome. Buddy had the zydeco special and said it was great.
Seafood po boy from Tony chacheries was very good.
Saw a few booths that I wouldn't have eaten what they were serving on a bet.
Looks like bread pudding will be on the menu everywhere this week. Heard the organizers told everyone to bring too much food and everyone had racks and racks of bread left.

Last year most of the booths ran out of bread by noon. Looks like they just over corrected.

A hamburger patty between two pieces of boudin pizza doesn't sound good?

It sounds like sloppy drunk or stoner food. Which don't get me wrong can be good... but... you didn't sell me in it being particularly exciting there

I wasn't trying to sell as culinary genius, I merely said i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yeah, last year everyone ran out by 2:00 and had to resupply. Talk to a friend of mine who works for a food distributor and he said the organizers told everyone they needed to have at least 1000 poboys per booth. Then on Friday, they sent out an email telling everyone they needed more than that because the weather was going to be good. With 24 vendors, that's 24,000 poboys for about 5000 people. Most vendors only did about a third of what they were expecting. He said one group brought 120 pounds of shrimp and only cooked 20. :yikes:

That 337 band was really good.
