Places to eat in Scottsdale

My wife and I are going with a couple friends next week and staying at the Omni. Figured we would eat there a night or two if it was good, anyone have any experience with the places there? Also, what else is good around town? I haven't been since I was in college so don't remember much of it or what is new? Thanks for any advice

The Mission in old town is a good Latin joint. Citizen Public House in downtown Scottsdale

Snottsdale? I only know a few places on the West or South sides. Are you going to have a rental car or anything?
