My pellet smoker will sit at the set temperature for about 2 hours or so and then decides to just start heating up hotter and hotter. It's done this my last 3-4 cooks. Anyone know what's going on?

Have you tried cleaning the built in thermometer? Look up your model and locate it. Should be removable. No need to disconnect the wires. Give it a good cleaning, along with the rest of inside of the barrel, and try it again. They can be replaced too but usually they’re just dirty. Worth a shot.

I know it sounds simple but make sure any and all vents are clean and allowing the air to circulate correctly. Mine was acting up recently and all because the air vents needed cleaning.
