When I was stationed at Pearl I found out that Hawaiians love some damn spam and there is a sushi bar in every store

This is 100% accurate. They absolutely love Spam in Hawaii. It’s like a delicacy to the locals out that way and they get very creative in how they prepare it. I remember the first time I tried Spam fried rice. I was certain I was headed down a culinary path of disgusting, but much to my surprise it was very tasty. They season that Spam up and roll it into sushi. It’s not just the Polynesians that like it, the Asians do too which is saying a lot because the Japanese want nothing but the best of everything. Out of the can I’m not running out of the door to load my shopping cart up with Spam. Prepared creatively like they do over in Hawaii it’s surprisingly good.

Tell me you’re a fat frick that’s never hiked more than a mile or so without telling me. Single slice Spam is a staple among long distance backpackers. Enjoy your IPA and chicken wings after your waterfall hike you do once a year, fatass.
