Man it was good. I don't know if it was because I was the only person there, but they put so much meat in the tacos that it was falling out as I took a bite. Topped with cilantro, onion, and lime - it can't beat.

I have never eaten at Panchos. I will definitely give it a try to see why some people pledge allegiance to it, while others think it is terrible. I don't see myself becoming a regular there.

The one is Metairie has been pretty empty every time I pass...which is often. Maybe the novelty has worn off?

Yeah it was a lot of food, but I was starving (hadn't eaten since 11:00 that afternoon).

It was worth the stomach ache that came later

I really don't mean to sound snobby or elitist, but to stand outside and wait for a Mexican buffet is crazy.

Hell, for $10 you can go to Taco Bell and make your own buffet. Food quality is probably on par.
