His attitude is why he got put on blast in that 37-page TulaneLSU rant thread for everyone on the O-T to read.

If a guy like TLSU spoke highly of me, I would begin to worry.

a.) Why wouldn't I want a restaurant I hate to close when it sits within a couple minutes of my house and could be something I like.

b.) Panchos is beyond awful and you know it. Its a culinary abortion...those workers can go anywhere else and get a similar job.

Actually you aren't. You are a jackass snob that somehow thinks we should all be eating in only fancy expensive restaurants when we go out.

No, I actually don't at all. I am a big believer in low country cooking, in staples, and in very affordable food. What I'm not a fan of is shortcutting and tricking people with shite that isn't cooking. It's a half arse approach that I don't care to partake in willingly. I would much rather eat a roast beef poboy that is actually cooked on site and on quality bread or bread baked in an oven with fire on site. That doesn't cost more. Matter of fact, it costs less, and your food cost goes down as a result. It just takes gumption, and not the path of least resistence, quitting, and dumbing it down to the bottom of the barrel just so you don't have to work your restaurant. Hey, why did you get into the business in the first place if you didn't want to do this? You knew damn well what it was going to take.

If people didn't like the taste, then Panchos would close.

People are idiots tigermyth... I know we like to believe they aren't but they really are pretty stupid when it comes to stuff like this. They could care less about the taste. All they care about is how freaking much are you going to give me to put in my big belly. That's it.

I'm not a fan of Panchos, but I have zero problem with people that love it.

I don't have a problem with them. They have a perfect right to eat shite if they want to, but don't think that means I don't have the right to call it out as I see it, and most people see it btw.

Mainly because I am not a pompous douche like the elitist snobs that love to talk down to people on a web site.

I make you face the facts, and you don't like that. I'm not on Team BR waving the flag over food that is virtually non existent simply to not make any waves. If we leave it up to you and your ilk, BR will remain in a constant state of mediocrity to complete and utter FAILURE, because you don't believe in anything here. I know a hundred or more people just like you who are perfectly content to remain right where you are because they are deathly afraid of change, and change that is actually very good, and in keeping with normality and excellence.

When you look around this city as you drive around, just remember, the state of our infrastructure is a direct result of this mentality. Big city problems, but a bunch of small town folks who are simple scared to death of thinking any bigger than what they are used to. They are WHAT THEY SEE BEFORE THEM, and certainly not what they see themselves as being, as in their potential. Short sighted, and refuse to change. Ahhh, there's a long history of that here, isn't it.

You got that right

Gotta disagree with you. The taste of a fresh taquito from Pancho's is heavenly. Ahhh :)

Seriously though guys. If morons like me wanna eat somewhere that you don't like, get over it. I'm amazed at how places like casinos stay in business. I think people that go blow their money for nothing are beyond retarded. But if that's what someone wants to do, it's not hurting me one bit, so I don't go hijack threads claiming how stupid people are for going to casinos.

And hey if you think people that love taquitos, flautas, sopapillas, and that soft serve ice cream are retarded, more for me

Raising the flag, babay! (mexican one that is)

Honestly, I just started this thread because I was excited about Pancho's coming to my hometown. I'm not even here most of the year due to school, but it'll be cool to be able to come home on weekends and go destroy that buffet with my friends. I know Pancho's isn't world class dining or whatever. I honestly don't care. Part of it is nostalgia I guess, but I actually do like the food. Sorry if that bothers you
