Who owns one? I've been hearing great things.

I have one. They're awesome. I have been incredibly impressed with everything I've tried on it. It's so simple too...put meat in, light fire, come back in a few hours, eat.

I don't like ribs or butts off one. It cooks to fast to give a good bark and smoke taste. On the other hand, it is some of the best turkey I've ever had and the reason I bought one (just for the holidays). Great taste, turkey stays juicy, skin is crispy with just enough smoke and it cooks a whole turkey in about 2 hours if I remember correctly. Chicken is also great off of one. Never had brisket off one.

It cooks basically as if you put a smoker inside a convection oven. Ribs take less than hour if I recall. They are fall of the bone (which I actually like a little pull) but no real bark or enough smoke for my taste. Same goes for butts.

Again, poultry is excellent on it though and considering they are not real expensive its worth it to smoke turkey two times a year at Christmas and Thanksgiving. I like it because (a) it's really fricking good turkey, (b) it takes almost no time at all (for a smoked bird), and (c) it's easy clean up and frees up the oven for all the other shite.
