Mr brother & I used to go to Waffle House Christmas night

My wife and I had Christmas Dinner at WH until our son was a year old (about 7 straight years). We would have to hit 3 locations on Christmas Day (her parents, my mom, my dad) and we had zero desire to cook anything.

They still allowed smoking in there when we stopped (figured it probably wasn't good for developing lungs).

I still go there for breakfast with my dad from time to time.

Friend,

It is a special joy to know and love the House of Waffle. Where else can one enjoy a menagerie of jukebox favorites while sitting front row for drunken brawls, late night romance, and hiijinx of the first order. All while enjoying a piece of thin, shoe leather grade T-bone steak that most any classically trained chef would ruin, yet has somehow been cooked to perfect medium rare alongside 18 other various proteins and potato dishes on a flat top griddle manned by a black guy who only started working there because Circuit City shut down. One word of warning though, if no one is out front smoking, ride on. The flavor just isn’t the same.

Yours,

Enos
