I am trying to remember the name of a sports themed restaurant that was off the college drive exit. It was visible from the interstate on the north side heading into Baton Rouge. They had multiple projectors that would show games. Any help would be appreciated.

No, that wasn’t it. I think they put a mexican restaurant there after it closed. It was in one of those big box style buildings and it was visible from the interstate.

Near where On The Border was in Citiplace? That one restaurant changed names a few times. Was it Drake’s or something like that?

Maybe Damon’s? Rib restaurant / Sports Bar.

I think Pelicans House was in the same building after Damon’s shutdown

Pelican House moved into the old Macaroni Grill building. I can’t remember what moved into the old Damon’s. Derek Chang’s Kyoto maybe?

My middle brother and I were trying to remember the name of the place. Our youngest brother was about 13 at the time we took him to an LSU game with my Uncle and grandfather. Our parents gave him a $20 bill and he ordered an $18 streak. After tax, he only had about 19 cents left for a tip. He made it clear to everyone else at the table that he didn’t share in the onion rings, and he only had a water to drink so he wasn’t going to chip in for anything else.

Yeah Damon’s. Made a terrible decision to drive to Atlanta during the basketball SEC tournament. Watched 2 games there and said if the tigers won we were going. Drive to ATL only to see us lose to Mississippi State. This was 2001/2002.
