Glad to hear the positive reviews; the new one in Lafayette will be right by the house so we'll give it a shot.

I like it but don’t understand why they closed the location on Burbank.

Wondered that as well. It seems like anything in that space since CC’s left has been cursed.

I like it but the last time I ordered online I went to pick it up in the drive thru- which only had one other car in line -and they told me I had to go inside to get it.

It was raining too which was a pain in the arse. Part of the reason I went there was I didn't want to go inside and pickup lunch in the rain.

As for fast foods, it's 4.5 stars outta 5.

Ate at one for the third time. Gonna change my rating. I'd give it a 4.8 outta 5 now. IMO, best fast food restaurant period.

Viva La waffle was such a terrible idea

But at every food truck roundup, they had the longest line of people by far. Agree that the brick and mortar restaurant was a flop.

I tried the one in Denham for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had not eaten all day and was ravenous—that may have swayed my opinion somewhat.

I inexplicably wanted onion rings and red beans and rice, so got both sides rather than an entree.

The service was very quick. So fast I assumed the onion rings would be heat lamp warm. Nope. They were very hot and fresh. Really good. Not strings, nor weird Burger King processed kind. Significant onion.

The red beans I described to someone as “Popeyes, but good.” They had that texture and spice but did not make me feel like I had eaten a spoonful of lard.

I want to return and try the pepper jelly wrap.
