I can see that. They usually all have a roasty malt taste which i assume is the off putting flavor there for you.

What do you like? I'm a huge hop fan myself.

My favorite regular run of the mill stout is Old Rasputin

I really meant that I prefer the base version of Yeti to all the coffee, espresso, chocolate, oak-aged, etc. versions that I've tried.

Old Rasputin is up there as well.

IPA's, Belgians, and Spice Beers make up a majority of the beer I drink.

That is the one thing that sucks about our beer selection is it's tough to find a good variety of IPA's here.

We have Stone IPA and Ruination, Sierra Nevada, and NOLA Hopitoulas, but after that, it's weak. Would love some Bell's, Smuttynose, and god willing Ballast Point

Bear Republic Racer 5 is still around in bottles.

BrewDog, Mikkeller, and Nogne O do some good ones if you can stomach the price tags.

And don't forget Jockamo!

If I had regular access to it, I would have a sixer in the fridge at all times

Hop Slam, Ballast Point Sculpin, RR Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig, Alesmith Yulesmith and IPA, Smuttynose IPA are my favorites.

true i forgot the bear republic beers. I was thinking more along the 12oz bottles.

Jockamo is ok, but i lacks the hop punch I like to see. I actually prefer the Restoration to the Jockamo.

Ive never had Pliny. They dont sell it in Ohio. Im not a huge fan of Racer 5. I think it has a soapy after taste.

I hate coffee too, but love porters and stouts.

As a hophead, i have little problem finding hoppy beers to get my "fix" here in louisiana.

Pumpkinator doesn't sound like a Porter or Stout, sounds like a Spice Beer. But Ive never had it.

It's definitely a stout, but with pumpkin spice. And it's delicious.

Yessir, they make some tasty beer

The Amplus Acerba, a "San Diego" Pale Ale, is thier double IPA and the Deceptio is a black IPA

both very good

Next time you go to San Diego I recommend looking them up

I've actually never had the regular boring old Yeti. I've only had expresso and chocolate. I enjoyed the expresso more
