Skip the steak. if you MUST, Doris Metro, obviously

Roast Beef PoBoys: R&O's, but I would go to Parkway. Its classic, and they have a ton of options. the RB isn't the best in the city but they have great stuff in general

Seafood:

Boiled and Fried: Clesi's or Bevi

More higher end: Peche, my favorite restaurant in the city


Breakfast: many people have given Brunch recs on here, places like Atchafalaya. They do not service breakfast every day

Elizabeth's is a good option as others have mentioned.
