There is a story/reasoning behind that. The original concept had to shift from what it was going to be to what it is.
Maybe they eventually go back, but the intention was a restaurant on a national recognition level. Maybe not Stella! level; but that direction.
The new place, Birdy's is worth a try too. Still early.
